"Drystan" is a pretty glittered bird, all decked out for the Holidays!
He wears a felt stocking cap with fur trim, and the wreath around his neck is made from a variety of berries, greenery, and sparkly items. The wings are whimsical and fluffy, and Dystan sits on top of a greenery nest. The glass glitter gives him lots of texture, and a real vintage look.
"Bailey" is a miniature Patriotic elephant! The pulltoy has metal wheels and is made of wood with a real leather pull. Bailey has a stars and stripe piece of fabric draping over his back, decorated with rusty bells. Made of clay, with a great patina!
Only 3" x 3", this elephant is perfect for the 4th of July or anytime of year!
Created using paperclay, this sweet cat wears a dress made from vintage fabric, with an eyelet underskirt. She carries a wire basket filled to the brim with velvet flowers. Her wool felt hat is adorned with the same flowers.
Three of my pieces that were published in magazines have been returned by the editors and are available for purchase. The first two were in the Spring issue of "Prims" magazine, and the snowman was in the February 2011 issue of "Create and Decorate.
I love the colors of Easter - pink, yellow, blue, green and a little blue!
This paperclay rabbit wears a pink jacket with a lace collar and antique button at his neck. He's holding on to the leash for his vintage chicken pull-toy. With a basket of eggs at his feet, and more eggs on the wooden base, this piece is a fun Spring display item!
"In your Easter bonnet, with all the frills upon it,
You'll be the grandest lady in the Easter parade."
I really enjoyed creating this sweet rabbit, with all of the detail and lots of sparkle!
A chocolate bunny with big ears rides inside of an egg cart. She is surrounded by a variety of velvet flowers. Vintage lace accents on her hat and collar, and antique buttons down the front. The sheep is covered in cotton batting.
I love creating things for Valentine's Day, and thought it would be fun to do something a little different this year. I used lots of vintage trims and fabrics on "Victoriana", which I think gives her a look reminiscent of earlier days.
She stands just short of 8" tall. and is made from paperclay over cloth...lots and lots of detail!
While Victoriana would perfect for Valentine's Day, she would fit in well with most decor all year long.
